Types of Vibration Training Exercises


Whole body vibration is a neuromuscular Vibration Training  method that it is widely used in physical therapy, rehabilitation, professional settings and sports, as well as for aesthetics and health. The system has a vibrating plate which triggers rapid muscle contractions while the user moves into various positions on the plate. Whole body vibration training is suitable for people who have difficulty training with resistance because of old age, illness, disorders, weight or injury and is also used for athletes who want to strengthen their muscles without adding extra stress on the joints, tendons or ligaments.

The deep squat position targets the quadriceps and hamstrings. Stand on the plate, distribute weight evenly between both. Bending the knees and hips and by lowering the thighs until they are parallel to the floor.

The gluteus and the core muscles are primarily trained in the pelvic bridge. Lye face up from the floor, place feet flat on the plate and keep the knees bent at a 90 degree angle. Raise your hips and press through the feet until your hips form a straight line between your shoulders and knees. Throughout the movement the chest, shoulders, arms and core muscles will be used with vibration training equipment.
